Is the iPhone 3G worth it?

Posted by Admin on August 31, 2008 at 20:43 pm

The original iPhone was a big hit but what made many not buy it was the price. When Apple announced the release of the iPhone 3G people couldn’t wait until July 11th. Apple said it was going to have 3G networking, GPS, and the new design, which this time is also available in white. The new 2.0 software update was also coming with the release. That’s not all the price: starting at $200! Not so long after the release people were debating if it was worth buying or not. Here is a list of why you should stay away from the iPhone 3G.

1. The new iPhone 2.0 update works just fine on the original iPhone that means you can still get all the cool apps from the app store.

2. If you live in a area where 3G isn’t available then why even bother, you cant use the best feature of the iPhone 3G.

3. $200 just for a better looking case, 3G networking, and GPS. By the way original iPhone can pinpoint your location using cell phone towers.

4. Apple lowered the price of the iPhone because they raised the service regular users now have to pay $10 more and for business users it’s $25 more.

5. Unlike the old iPhone there is no dock included, meaning you have to purchase one separately.

I hope this helped those of you wondering if you should buy the iPhone 3G. I would love to hear what you think so please leave a comment.
